About Technikon

Mission Statement: "At Technikon, our mission is to perform scientific research activities in the public interest, primarily by conducting research for the United States government. Technikon provides the government with an unbiased, independent testing center for renewable energy technologies."

With more than 15 years of experience validating high temperature technologies, Technikon provides the government and industry with an independent Testing and Validation Proving Ground for evaluating the performance of renewable energy and renewable fuels technologies with respect to robustness, safety, energy efficiency, environmental effectiveness and other key performance specifications.

Technikion brings together technology developers, government entities, and universities with the oversight of the RETC staff in a facility that allows the kind of testing and analysis needed to bring renewable energy systems to market - and available for government acquisition at a lower cost and risk.

• Process Testing Instrumentation
• Air Emissions Laboratory
• Biofuels Testing Laboratory
• Biomass storage and handling on-site
